Company is not relieving me how can I get out of the company

I submitted my resignation on 21st April and asked management to relieve me early as I am ready to buy out notice. I gave my handover to my replacement but yesterday - 13th May when I approached HR team they refused accepting my resignation as Operations team is not ready to relieve me. I am ready to pay for notice. They're forcing me to continue with the company which I cannot else they are threading me that they will spoil my career. Please advice as I am unable to join a new company.

Legally, you cannot be forced to work against your will. Write another letter to your employers referring to 21/04 resignation letter & Cite personal emergency as a reason. Tell you are willing to pay as per the terms of your employment. Seek relieving letter, experience letter, other documents, etc. Once you get the documents, issue a cheque or demand draft as per their requirements. In case, you don't receive a positive feed back in 3-4 days, consult lawyer and serve legal notice without further delay.
