Sir i am a sardarni and my bf is a Hindu , sir for court marriage do we need to register under hindu marriage act or SMA .. in case of Hindu marriage can we get instantly married or it also requires notice period. One of the lawyer said that he will get us married within an hour and that's why I have confusion is it authentic or he is misleading me
As far as your marriage is concerned it will be governed by the Special Marriage Act and in that a notice is compulsory to be given under section 5 with the period of 30 days. If you go for an hour type of marriage then it will be either a Arya Samaj Marriage or it may not be authentic. For more legal assistance I am just a call away.

First of all your marriage will be solemnised under Hindu Marriage Act and not the Special Marriage Act. Secondly, there is no provision in Delhi for the marriage to be solemnised and registered on the same day itself let alone be done in one hour. I'm afraid that advocate is misguiding you. It can only be done in one day in Ghaziabad but not in Delhi. For more details you may consult me.
