I want to know if I can stay in parents home

I face domestic violence at home on daily basis.. I want to put them behind the bars.. Once they were in police station and almost got arrested but were free on bail due to covid crisis.. Please let me know the legal process about taking action against them.. Thanks

Hello... You can lodge an F.I.R. at you local police station under Section 498A, 323, 504, 506 I.P.C. and under Domestic Violence Act too...Whether they ask for Dowry also??? Then they can be punished under Dowry Prohibition Act also... Once you will lodge an F.I.R. they the police will further investigate the case and will arrest them...And will file charge sheet...till then trial will start... Rest you can call me for further and elaborate procces and procedure... Thank you...

yes you can go through court for better relief .. and you can also use copy of compliant it helps you in the court as you said you are facing domestic violence so it is very important to be clear that who is creating this your mother in law , husband so many things that is needed for better relief .. and don't worry it works ..

During the covid the state government released so many accused on bail but now the situation is changed if u want to put them behind the bars. u should approach the concerned court to rearrest the accused because the benefit of covid period is already passed away.
