Court asking huge fees to be submitted in order to get death claim

My daughter has filed a suit in district court for claim of amount Rs.11,65,000/= approx. from the office of my son in law after his death. She has been asked to deposit Rs.67,000/= approx. in cash, as court fee before start of proceeding by court. please advice- 1. is court fee is correct? 2. cash deposit is only way? 3. amount to deposit in court itself?

Please mention the case details and the court where suit is pending. I dont think it is in Family law. Please explain in detail. Ideally court fees is deposited through Advocate in the court. At present not all courts have the facility of deposit of court fees through electronic means. Also, it is problematic to keep track of e-challans. Hence, cash deposit is the safest way. You can ask your advocate of the photocopy of the challan and stamp paper of court fees.

COURT FEE MAY DIFFER FROM CASE TO CASE AND YOU MAY FILE COURT FEE THOUGH DEPOSITING MONEY IN TREASUREY OR MAY PURCHASE THE COURT FEE DIRECTLY FROM THE VENDOR.
COURT FEE IS NOT CORRECT
CASH DEPOSIT IS NOT ONLY WAY
COURT NEVER ACCEPT COURT FEE IN CASH MODE
