please find out reason behind the want/ desire of your husband for separation and try to satisfy him. If his want /
desire is not acceptable can not be satisfied, then find out the person behind him and file a suit against that person in any criminal court and compel him to surrender.

Hello,

If you don't want divorce and the same time if you want to live with your husband then you may contest the divorce filed by your husband and simultaneously you may also file restitution of conjugal rights.

I refer to your post. If you really like to continue the matrimonial life you can file restitution of conjugal rights petition before jurisdiction family court and if your husband file the divorce proceedings you will be one party to defend the proceeding. I hope I clarified your answer thank you

Your husband cannot compel you to sign mutual consent petition. If he files divorce petition on his own you could appear before the court and contest his petition. If you want to live with him you could file a petition for restitution of conjugal rights against your husband stating that you are ready to live with him.

If you do not want to go for Divorce then don't agree to file for Divorce by mutual consent. Let him file for Divorce separately. If possible you can file to live together (Restitution of conjugal rights). When he files for divorce then you have to file a strong counter and object to the Divorce petition.
