Sexual assault by boyfriend one and a half year back

My boyfriend sexually assaulted me by forcefully putting his penis between my buttocks and rubbing it despite me saying no. He stopped only when I pushed him away. This was one and a half years back, can I complain now? Also brief me the steps please.
As you mentioned in your problem that your boyfriend tried to force you to have sex with him and you were sexually assaulted and if you did not stop him, he would force you to have sex with him and this incident happened about a year and a half agoIf you want to take any action against him then there is no fear as of now, legal remedy is available against you, you can file a report directly or without him in the police station otherwise file a complaint in the court under section 156 Oblivion 3 CrPC. Yes you can complain with the explanation of delay, that why you have not filed at that time and why you are filing now. once you satisfy the competent authority, your complained shall be register. And will be held under section 376, 377 of ipc

if u have been sexually harrassed by your bf, u can file an FIR u/s 375, 506 IPC, to file u may go to the nearest police station, meanwhile if you have any proof of the incidents when it was happened it will be retained by u for later use. The proof would include written conversation between u, accused call recordings, or any other accepting the crime.
