Time taken by government office to reply.

What is the time period is provided to an government office to reply or to take an action to an high court order if it is written in the order that :- "appropriate authority within a reasonable period in accordance with law ".

Dear Client,

That usually depends on the matter and other factors. In general if the order was passed 3 months back you can file a contempt before the Hon'ble Court.
