Can we give husband's name as legal guardian in passport application ? Or will it create issues in issuing of passport like rejection or any other issue ?d w who is the legal guardian of a married woman and what are the consequences if its not mentioned on the passport ?

In India, section 6 of the Hindu Minority and Guardianship Act of 1956 states that the father is the guardian natural of a Hindu boy or girl under the age of 18 and, only after him the mother. The guardian for a married girl under the age of 18 is her husband. Section 6.
