Facing threats of being implicated in a case

26-Oct-2023 (In Civil Law)
I am a ugc net aspirant,so it is needless to say that I have to study for a long time in a day.Whenever I get tired ,I lie down on my bed with one leg putting over another and thus reading .But for a couple of months a few people from my neighbouring building are expressing their displeasure at my posture of lying down. They abuse me and even threaten me of implicating in a case.It is worth mentioning here that the distance between my room and that building is no less than 100 feet.My humble question is can they infringe on my privacy by expressing displeasure at how I would lie down on my bed?Can the take legal recourse against me for that?

First of all your neighbours are trying to interfere in your privacy which have been guaranteed by our Constitution. If the harassment and abuse continues then you can make a written complaint before the local police station against your neighbours.I do not think they can take any legal recourse against you.If they do so then it will solely be done to harass you and mislead the court.
