17-Jul-2023 (In Civil Law)
We are 2 brothers and 2 sisters. Our house was in the name of my mother who passed away 3 years back.my father passed away 2 and half years back.my sisters are married. One of them is divorced and lives with us .my brother is married and I am single. House is still in the name of my mother. Due to strained relationships I would like to move away get married and settle down. The house is small and we are 8 persons living together. My siblings don't want me to marry and bring my wife to this house. I cannot afford to rent a house because my income is low. How can I sell the house and with my share settle down. I am 48 years of age. Time is running out for me. Please help and advice me how to go about it through law. Thank you

Well, as you said, the Home was on your Mother's name. So, whether your Mother had created the will or not before dying? As your mother passed away before your father died, so, when your father died, he created will or not? Now, if you ask me legally, you all are Legal-Heirs in the Property in which you are living and all have equal share in it.
