23-May-2023 (In Civil Law)
Money recovery: I have been told that a civil case can be filed within 3 years from the date of first transaction. In my case, it's due in Sep 2020. Because of Covid 19, I haven't been able to proceed further. Will I get some relaxation on the time-limit by the court to file the civil case?

This is my response to you:
1. You must state the date on which the cause of action arose?
2. The limitation period is 2 years;
3. Please disclose all facts. otherwise it will be difficult to assess;
4. Consult a local lawyer and take steps.

Yes you have been told correct..but there is some law in situation like this ,so showing with reasonable and cogent reason you can file case in the court. But in your there is much time in your hand for filing case as you mention in your query . Thank you

First you need to send legal notice. if the opponent refuse to pay back or ignore your notice, you can file civil case..

online filing is one of the option.

however, you may get relaxation on the ground of covid 19 issue..as court is not working.
