My friend drove the car which was rented on my name ,and met with accident ,now I'm liable for damages according to rental contract ,but 279 ipc has been filed on him and i don't have any legal agreement with my friend ,can i file civil case against him for compensation and what are the chances of winning the case and how much can i claim , please help me asap
see if at the time of accident if your friend had valid license and see if the said vehicle had valid insurance, if both are there claim be filed against insurance for damages and loss suffered by you
