If a gift deed has been executed and all the legal formalities of a valid gift deed have been complied with then the gift cannot be taken back.
It can be taken back where where the gift deed was created with a reversionary interest, that is, the gift would return to the donor after the death of donee, that the gift can be returned. But if no such condition has mentioned then the gift cannot be returned.

The nominee only will receive the amount. Here no one has right on the LIC amount except ur daughter. And the rule says that after the death of the account holder the nominee is the person who has full rights over the amount n no one else.
