Custody of baby boy in case of contested divorce

My husband is a divorcee. He beaten his first wife and she made FIR DV and divorced! He has a son with her. He married me as second wife and beating me even in 7th month of pregnancy ! Mother in law torture too ! He is asking for divorce. Living separately. Whether he will get the custody of my boy baby just because he is very rich. My father in law has lot of properties and Crores of money ! My husband earning 1.5Lakhs per month and am earning 40000 per month. No properties in my husband's name !Will I lose my son's custody if I contest the divorce?
No.he can't get the child custody do much easily for the reason that he is Rich& you are contesting the divorce.He has to prove many things before the court usually the court will be in favor of the ladies only (since the women are tortured by the husband and his family members in 80% of the cases.

As far as the custody of child is concerned, up to 5 years mother is the natural guardian, after that father is the guardian. Here in your case you can demand that the baby should be grown with me otherwise he will be spoiled by my husband like wise you should raise your stand. But visitation right you cannot deny. At last court is the ultimate authority to decide all these matters, but you have chart the plan and accordingly you should act to get success.

Mam dont worry son born to you will be yours only. You can approach the court and get an order for retaining the child with you. The divorce case has nothing to do with having custody of your child. Custpdy of child is a separate proceedings. Richness has no role mother plays a big role. Mother can go legally
