Query perused. In my considered opinion you should immediately engage a lawyer for issuance of legal notice to the concerned person seeking payment within 15 days Failing which a criminal complaint under section under section 138 NI Act be filed. Original Cheque, banks debit memo, any agreement, invoice or purchase ordrr etc is required. For further consultancy and legal services you may contact us.

Hi,

There is a entire procedure to be followed as in case of cheque dishonour. You need an advocate to ensure that all the prescribed legal requirements are followed to avoid any defects at this stage.

First of all keep the bank memo of cheque dishonour along with the dishonoured cheque in your safe custody.

Though you don’t require any other document but if there is any written communication you may keep in record to establish that the cheque was given to you towards the payment of the machine, it will supplement your claim.

Consult me for thorough legal guidance. Call/SMS/WhatsApp.
