Can father give his ancestral property through will to his daughter?

Can my father in law make a will of his ancestral property in his married dtr's name

Yes ! Although a married daughter has right on this property and it can also be transferred by the will. Any of the son can also challange the will and claim the said property. But it also completely depend upon case to case. Consult a property expert lawyer with all full details and doccuments.

No a will can only be made of the property belonging to the person .A person can make a will of ansestors property of only portion which comes into his share after partition in accordance with law.Normaly ansestors property can not be bequeathed in will

No. Ancestral property can not be bequeathed by father. He can bequeath property owned by him by his own funds not from the money got from sale of an ancestral property. Property which he has inherited is further by all legal heirs.

Only to the extent of his share in ancestral property and not for the entire property.
However, if other co-owners relinquishes their shares in the ancestral property in favour of your father in law, your father in law became exclusive owner of the said property and in that manner he can make will for the entire ancestral property.

Law of Will is applicable in cases of self acquired property
In present facts stated as ancestral property of father
In these circumstances Will could not be executed as incapable to write the will
As per Indian succession act Will could not be treated as valid
