Hai.
Mediation is a process where both parties are brought together to giv a professional approach for settlement. Settlement should be meant in a broad perspective bcuz it can either settle the mattr after going deep into the matters finding the core. The other part is tat during mediation parties arrives at a conclusion tat there is no need to dispute n tat parties can seperate without the hustle f arguments n cross examination. Ther can b suitable demorage for both, as suffered.
There is another thing tat parties suggest sometimes. Its to delay the matter for a a month r two( personaly i dnt recomend tat)
Now wat hapens on mediation s there will b a mediator n he/she will hear both sides. He/she may recomend for seperate sessions for hus n wife even for many days as suitable for the facts n circumstances f cases. There is no need to go under compulsion of mediator if u find it so. Let ur sis go in a free mind n take a decission gud for her future. Tell her to think about wat her life b after 10 years on wat she decides. Also manipulate the decision with support f law after consulting to a civil lawyer. Better ur lawyer itself.
Hope am upto ur query

alternative dispute resolution (ADR) in which the parties to a lawsuit meet with a neutral third-party (Advocate) in an effort to settle the case. The third-party is called a mediator
The mediator’s role is not to reach a decision – it is to help the parties reach their own decision.
In your case, please and attend the mediation.
IF the settlement is not acceptable to you, then proceed with the High court case
The court pass order on merit.

Ok. Husband has moved a petition before the family court Kannur for divorce. And you got the order from the High court to do the Mediation at Eranakulam. Mediation is nothing but the discussion among the couple and their relatives to reinstate their matrimonial relationship. This is mandatory in the family matters.

Dear Client,
Since it is a "Family " related matter the Hon'ble judges referred the matter to mediation, even if you had filed petition for Transfer of OP from one Kannur to Thrissur Family Court. The mediation centre at Ernakulam explore the possibilities for an amicable settlement to rejoin or not and if not settled it will be referred back to court and the Hon"ble High Court will hear and decide the Transfer OP.
