How to deal with illegal encroachment on property

sir, i had attached house on left of my house. that house had gate on side of my house. but the neighbour(he is not owner and dont have title but is occupying that property) has made shops with shutters on other side(road) but he has left open the one shop on my home side and says i will put gate here and cause nuisance to us. plz help

In such a situation send him a legal notice for not doing so. It's infringement of your easementry right.if he will not stop than file a civil suit for permanent injunction along with temporary injunction application.
