Property Tax For Flat In Apartment

Can we pay property tax as per RERA carpet area for flats in apartment. Flat was registered as super built up area in the year 2019 December
Property Tax is determined by Local authority. whereas Rera provides carpet area for assessment of saleable area and it has nothing to do with tax of property. If you have got Katha and OC. The tax will be determined as per law. Thus the Tax has to be paid to Local authority accordingly.
