Yes, You can file a Money Recovery Suit against your Employer either before NCLT or by filing a Summary Suit in Civil Court. If you are a Labourer, not an Employee, falling below the category of Manager, you can file a Case in Civil Court. Moreover, You can file a Criminal Case under Sec 420 of the IPC to bring pressure upon the accused to negotiate with you and repay your money back .

In money suits, court fees are based on the amount demanded. It is worthwhile to file a money suit if you are owed 10,000 rupees. The court fees will be 2.5%, or 250 rupees. You'll be left with only 9,750 rupees.
