what is Legal Rights as a married daughter on my Mother's ancestral property who died on 2000. The property was transferred to my only brother's only son in 2005

you have equal right with your brother in respect of property left intestate by your late mother. but the problem you may face in Court to get that is the inordinate delay after it got transferred to your brother's son. Still you can claim.

The father, in this case, has the right to write a property Will to anyone he wants, and a daughter will not be able to object. The Hindu Succession Act 1956 was amended in 2005, allowing daughters an equal share in ancestral property.
