for a property valuation of Rs 8 lakhs
Stamp Duty (In Rs.) Rs. 4000
Registration Fee (In Rs.) Rs. 8000

If you need any further assistance you may contact me. A gift deed prepared by a lawyer is chargeable.

As it could be said, there will be .5% required for stamp duty since its a gift within close blood relation which amounts to Rs 4000/- (If the market valie of the property is 8 Lakhs) and 1.1% required for registration cost which amounts to Rs 8800/- (If the market valie of the property is 8 Lakhs) in our West Bemgal. The market value can be determined from wbregistration.gov.in.

Dear querist,

If the circle rate is 8 lakhs then you have to pay 0.5% stamp duty with registration fee 1% . So total 1.5 % of 8 lakh= 12 thousand as to government of West Bengal... legal fees differs for different advocate we charge 2% of total valuation or 25 thousand whichever is minimum for registry + registry office expenses which will be around 4.5 K and if commission is done it will be 7 K...as 2% of 8 lakh is less than 25k, we will take 25k + 7(as we prefer Commision) + 12 k. so if you come to us the whole process will be done in 44 k and please don’t insult us by bargaining... we are transparent and work according to our fee structure... if you want our help call us through lawrato
