How can a Muslim newly wedded groom get a divorce

My muslim male friend got married on dec 06th 2020 against his will. How can he get a divorce and long should he wait to get a divorce
There is no time limit for Muslims to get divorce after marriage. If your friend wants a divorce and his wife too wiling for it then they may prepare mutual consent deed of divorce styling it as talaqnama.

Your friend can take mutual divorce if his wife is agreeable. You can go to the Kazi and prepare the mutual papers ie mubaratnama if your friend is given mutual consent divorce to his wife. And this can only be done if his wife is agreeing for a divorce
