Can a Landlord break my home lock & throw my items with help of police

22-Sep-2023 (In Landlord/Tenant Law)
Can a landlord break house lock and throw my items with the help of police as I am not in that house Because of medical issues & corona pandemic from past 1 year? What are the IPC sections under which I can sue landlord if he breaks the lock & throw my items without court order with the help of police? Can I sent him normal notice from my native mentioning I need 3 months time & if he breaks lock & throw my items Then I will sue him in court?

no one can be thrown like this

nither any body belongings.
now the question is
whether you have a registered rent agreement?
if not what would be your evidence to say that you were staying in that accomodation?
basically if you are not well and not in that accomodation seek time from land lord as you have rightly said.
one should always avoid litigation.
it only waste your
time
health
and money.
always look for a lawfull solution out side the court etc.

No, if the lease is still subsisting or has not been revoke vide a notice then he cannot break the lock or throw the items. Police cannot interfere in civil matters and if they do it’s illegal.
If the landlord breaks the house lock then its you will have what is called “adverse possession” of the property and he cannot only evict you as per due process of law. For more info, kindly provide me more details over a call

as you are a legal tenant of landlord and as well as you are in possession of that place then the landlord can not throw your articles out
it is against the law of evicting you withoit die process of law
yes you can send him a notice stating that you need some more time

Dear good morning.

In this case I don't know how old are you still and how many days you left the house. papers. once you had locked your house then no one has right to open or break also without proper directions police men can't do anything or support for illigal activities... you can register the trespass case on both
