How can I get my balance salary from the company

I am A working in a construction company . In my previous company I joined 1aug 2012 & resign 22 Dec'2012. I m getting leave on 18' oct to 11' nov 2016. after that some family problem I m not join my company .so telephonic conservation with boss he suggested me to resign from my services. then i m resign 22 dec'2016 from my services. But since now they not pay my balance salary Sep'16 to 11 nov'16. I am already withdraw my EPF but balance salary not get more than 7 months after resignation. Please suggest me how i get my balance salary.
Shoot a legal notice upon them calling upon them finally to release the salary illegally withheld by them and in case even this does not helps, you will have to approach the labour by way of filing a case against this company.

you have to send legal notice for your dues of salaray and if any other benifit is left. if there was any contract of the company with you that has to be seen if there is any boundation on the salary and term of service to be completed.
