Company holds previous month's salary as employee on medical leave

12-May-2023 (In Labour & Service Law)
Hi, I went on a medical leave and was expecting to join after 2 months in this case my company kept my salary on hold and told me that they will release the salary once i will rejoin. Now my medical conditions got worse and the doctor is suggesting to take rest for few more months and I wanted to resign. My company is willing to give me my experience and reliving but not the salary which they kept on hold as I haven't serve any notice period. I took an approved medical leave and transfered all my projects properly in 25 days and then went for a medical leave. Can you please suggest what can I do as I am feeling that I am getting cheated by my company whom I served well.

You should serve a legal notice to the employer to release salary, employer can not hold earned wages. Serve legal notice with help of local lawyer. In legal notice demand for you experience letter and reliving letter
