Dear client as your query is ambiguous

Tell the whole facts of the FIR so that proper grounds of the bail application shall be provided to you As far as the bail is concerned it depends upon the court to grant or to nit grant

State your current stage of case/fir if any. Have your brother gone to women cell before regarding the 498 a complaint or these summons have been served for DV or maintenance. Your query is incomplete.

As per the new law laid down by Hon'ble Supreme Court no arrests shall be made in the offences where the sentence is of less than seven years until the the situation is very much grave. So in offence of 498A the bail will be granted easily if there are no extraordinary circumstances .

It completely depends upon the facts of your case until you will not show relevant documents again if you will not mention past incidents as well as facts of the FIR till the time that will be very much difficult to make your opinion regarding bail.

You can apply for anticipatory bail. As per Arnesh kumar judgement, police cannot arrest any person without sufficient proof in 498a case. Anticipatory bail may be granted to you and the query that how many time will take, it depends upon court to courts working procedure. But in normal situations, it takes hardly 15/20 days.
