No you are not eligible for the pension amount of your father. You are a major male person and u are not eligible to receive any amount. Only female unmarried daughter is eligible for your father pension.

HI,
You have not stated as to which department was your father working with. Generally it is the wife only who is entitle to the pension of the deceased and if their is any will or so then can claim for the assests of the deceased. Call us through the website for further assistance.

Hi according to your question i am giving the answer,In case of wife / husband, Family pension can be commenced by the pension disbursing authority on the basis of application made by family pensioner along with copy of death certificate, in case where the name of the beneficiary has already been mentioned in the pension payment order. However, if the name of the beneficiary is not mentioned in the PPO, then application is to be submitted to the head of office for obtaining fresh sanction. In case of son / daughter, below the age of 25 years, Family pension is commenced only after obtaining a fresh sanction from the pension sanctioning authority (if the name of son/daughter is not mentioned on PPO). If the name of spouse is mentioned on the PPO, the spouse has to apply to pension disbursing authority for commencement of family pension.Enhanced family pension is payable up to attainment of 67 years of age of the pensioner or 7 year after the death of the pensioner, whichever is earlier if you want any further clarification you can contact us this
