You could have included section 13(1)(i-b) for desertion as your wife has been separated from you for the past two years. Your wife is working and is able to take care of herself. Alimony depends on the course of your divorce case. Your wife cannot make claims over your parents'properties.

You should consult a lawyer and take a detailed opinion as to what strategy you needs to adopt for fighting this section 9 case and other cases if any. If you are not interested to continue you may mention the Same in the reply to the petition by you need to give reason to that effect

Your course of action will depend upon what outcome are you looking for. In case you wish to get separated, you may mutually file for a divorce (mutual divorce) which will save both your time and money. However in case your spouse is not willing to mutually get separated, in that case you will need to file for a contested divorce. An NCR is also advisable to help you defend yourself from any false cases.

what type of maintenance she filed will decide the quantum of maintenance. if it is interim maintenance then it could be challenged before the high court for quash otherwise it can be contested by filing the required petition

The court cannot force the person who has withdrawn from the society of the other to stay with the aggrieved person who has instituted the petition for Restitution.
Also, you can file for divorce petition against your wife in case you don’t want to reside with her in future.

No not needed, Court only grants orders on circumstances of the case of being her economically lower than you or she is earning good salary than you can still have to wait till she seek for maintenance.

first of fall u hire an advocate.
& file a divorce case against your wife.
U file immediately divorced case file.
otherwise ur wife file many false cases against you.
