Q: Gold jewellery theft in a private safety locker

I accessed my locker in Jan 2023. After that I accessed again in May 2023 and found one bag of my gold jewellery containing about 300gms of jewellery missing. There are no traces of my locker being tampered. There is a possibility of me leaving that bag of gold outside the locker itself and someone would have stolen it. How do I deal this further?

Advocate Murali Krishnan Sanjeevi answered
first a complaint had to be launched in the police station and FIR has to be filled by the police. then a legal notice has to be sent to the private locker company it is criminal nature. the appropriate court is criminal court and the value of jewel is more than 7 lacs then the complaint had to be filled before the assistant commissioner of police
