I would like to request your legal advice as my husband wants to go for divorce. I am Singapore PR living in Singapore since 2005 and I have a 13 year old daughter. My husband Singapore PR has moved to India 5 years back and wants to go for divorce now. would india law or singapore law apply?

your husband has to invoke the Indian law even though he had Singapore PR. the Indian law is very clear if marriage was held in India then divorce proceedings should be at India not in other countries

if you have proper reason which prevents you filing of the case in time then you can file the case. if the court has not condon delay then file a petition at high court to Condon the delay caused. if you are want to delay again it is not possible to proceed with the case

My question is that can a government employee be sleeping partner in a company ?, secondly can a government employee publish research article

the government employees will not be a partner in any business entity. if found as sleeping partner then conduct rules will be applied. he can not file research articles without prior permission of the government and further action against him is possible



Q: Family Property Issue Filed Criminal Case By Son

1.Husband purchased a property in wife name in the year 1990 from his own sources of income. Later at 2004 wife expired. And got the property transfered to his name by producing death certificate of wife. And got khata transferreed to his name. And further father executed gift deed in the name of childrens. Except one child. Now that one child has filled criminal case . Will this leads to any issues???

criminal case is not substantial against the civil natured issue. the criminal case will be quashed by high court by filing required case. the civil natured case can't survive against the criminal case



Q: regarding domestic violence and verbal abuse

i am working in central government .i am living separately with my 2 children in my parents house. i and my husband had issues because of his extra marital affairs and also her sisters domination .since i mentioned his illegal contacts and her sister as problem creator he is continuously abusing me with bad words , through wats app chats and calls .initially it started as physical violence , later on several warning given by my parents in family meetings it changed to mental abuse. actually as you are serving in the central government it is necessary for you to separate from the husband and to live along with your parents house. after that legal notice will be sent to your husband not to disturb you at any cost then file divorce
