I got married in July 2016 bcos of mental and physical torcher and dowry harrassment I am living separately from my husband from April 2018 so it's been more than a year.i have filed domestic violence and dowry case against him he in return filed restitution and defamation case against me.i want to now get divorce from him.please advise what is the procedure to get it at the earliest and what to do if he doesn't t agree.and can I file for divorce in between all the above filed cases?
yes madam you can file for divorce. ofcoarse he has filed restitution just as defence. after filing divorce if he agree for divorce after fulfilling all your demands it can be converted into mutual divorce. for more brief u may call me in case of need

you can definitely file a suit for divorce against your husband on the basis of the grounds mentioned by you. if he agrees for the same, then you can file a suit for divorce by mutual consent otherwise you can file a case for divorce on the grounds of mental and physical cruelty.
