How long can I delay divorce ?

My wife wants to take a divorce but I don’t want to give her the divorce . She asked to file for mutual divorce but I refused . Just wanted to know , how long can I delay the divorce ? I want to delay that for next 5 years atleast . Can I challenge the lower court decision in higher court ? I would like to go till Supreme Court to challenge this .

Hi,you can contest the divorce petition in court..You can appeal in the high court if the divorce decree is granted to her ...Also it has to be seen whether she has a justified grounds for seeking divorce

yes, you can delay your divorce proceedings through this from lower court to Supreme Court and it will take more than 5 years to complete it or wind it up, but make sure you have sufficient amount to pay your wife as maintenance because you have to pay her monthly maintenance till she remarries or you do one time handshake in the form of permanent alimony either in the form of 13b or supreme court final judgement.
