Its my husbands second marriage... ours was a love marriage though.. he is not warning since last 13 yrs..he hits me..abuse my family and friends... he takes alcohols and tobacco and lomotil tablets too...i have a daughter who is just 2.5 yrs...ow he says he wont let me or my daughter leave him.. as we are his source of living... what To do

as you mentioned that you have been married for 13 years and you have a daughter of two and a half years and your husband are alcoholic and drug addict and use drug and you misbehave and abuse you in such a situation file a lawsuit for divorce from you r husband as well as for custody of your daughter and you have all the evidence from which you can prove tham that the drug adict is the wrong person

There is no law which binds you to live with such person. If you want to come out of this marriage you may come through legal proceedings. If you are from Delhi NCR you may contact me. It’s also not safe for the future of your daughter to live such person
