I am from Hindu family staying in mumbai with my wife and 15yr old son. Since my marriage my wife has always created issue and she frequently go back to her native place. After several meetings in presence of our family members I brought her back for the sake of child. She is having psychological problems since before marriage and also she doesn't wanted to get marry and for the same reason she has attempted suicide before marriage. All these things were not disclose to our family and we got married. Now recently during lockdown I came to know through her call recording that she is still in touch with her earlier boyfriend. When I asked her she started crying and requesting me not to disclose this to anyone and also threatening me that if I discuss this with any one she will commit suicide. I don't want my son should suffer. she had already hurted herself many a times. I had all the medical records of the treatment which is still going on. Please advise legal remedy for this. thanks

Hi. Firstly you need to decide on what you want to do. Whether you want to continue in the marriage or no. Your son is already gone up and you need not worry about him as he would be busy with his activities. We are based in Mumbai and You can get in touch with me for further advisory and strategy.

Yes you can issue legal notice to her and even simultaneously you can file directly divorce Petition on the ground of physical and mental cruelty, on the ground of psychopathic disorder and also on the basis of chats that you have. You should keep custody of son with you and can give her prenatal visiting right.
