You have to wait for the chargesheet to be filed by the police (ie 173 Final Report).

We must first check if they have already submitted the chargesheet. If yes, then we will apply for a certified copy.

This step will depend on the facts of the case but we shall approach the High Court to quash this Final Report under Section 482 of the CRPC.

Alternatively, we can get ready for trial.

IPC section 420 (cheating), IPC section 467 (forgery) and IPC section 471 (using a forged document as genuine) are all cases where anticipatory bail can be granted. In cases involving IPC sections 420 (cheating), 467 (forgery of valuable security, will, etc. ), and 471(using a fake document as authentic), anticipatory bail can be requested.
