threatened To Kill Me When I Called

I had called my client (client is from another district of my state )for outstanding payment, in course of conversation he threatened to kill me & also hurled lot of abuses on me of which I have call recording, can I logde a police complaint? Which judiciary police should I approach? Kindly help

Please lodge complaint in your local police station because you received abuses at your place. Threaten to kill is serious offence. You can lodge complaint online also. It will be taken serously and attach the recordings to the email sent to police. FIR wii be registered and he will be arrested with litte efforts. You can approach the jurisdictional police station where you are residing send a legal notice for recovery of money if he fails to repay the amount then file suit for recovery of money in the jurisdictional court against the person

you can file a police complaint in the local police station where you received the threat call, the said person can be booked for 504 and 506 of Indian penal code, preserve the recording and the mobile, so just go and file the complaint, if police refuse to register then you can directly file the complaint in court.
