Greetings. This is a very serious matter and requires you to act immediately. You can give a complaint in writing to the nearest police station that you are apprehending assault/harm by your neighbour. If you do not wish to file a complaint or an FIR, you can give a janva jog (preliminary information) to the police so that something like this is happening comes on record and if in the future some fight or bodily harm is caused, it is already brought on record that you have apprehended such a thing from happening. In such cases police protection can also be sought.

Can we file a case against threatening?

Criminal intimidation is committed if you threaten someone verbally, by writing, on the phone, etc. This is punishable by Section 506 IPC, which is cited below.

What to do when you have life threat?

Call the police as soon as you hear what he says. Report him! This is a serious abuse and violation! You would be astonished if they said something like, "I will kill you!" Call the police to tell them what happened.

What is the complaint of threatening to kill?

Section 506 IPC does punish those who threaten to kill another. In some states it is a non-cognizable offense and no FIR is registered under section 506 IPC. Police will give a Non Cognizable Report on the complaint. You must then approach the concerned court to get an order of investigation.

If the parking area belongs to you you can file a complaint for illegal trespass or otherwise you can definitely file a complaint for threatening of murder under section 506 of ipc against your neighbour.
