Minor accident happend and FIR got filed against me as IPC 279, 427

12-May-2023 (In Criminal Law)
Minor accident happend and FIR got filed against me as IPC 279, 427 and MVA 119, 177 and 184. I bumped car from behind. No physical injuri. We both filed complaint against each in Police station. After 9 months we came to know that cross fir has been filed. Same charges to both. Now Police have called me to go to court for filing FIR. Need suggestion for closing this issue in least possible time and least expense.

Well, We can get this Case closed if both of you compromise with each other. If both of you are ready, then, I can find a way out to close this case for once and all. Police might have adviced you to go for FIR quashing, right?

All these sections of IPC are non compoundable so you cannot settle the case but will have to contest the case. If charge sheet is submitted by the police before the magistrate then you'll have to first secure bail and then fight the case
