There are certain criminal cases wherein plea bargaining is allowed. When an accused accept his guilt and prays before the hin'ble court to consider his offence for a lesser punishment then un such cases plea bargaining is done by court.

Hello,

It would be appropriate if you could share the FIR and court details for appropriate and detailed answers. What to be done on next date of hearing is governed as to what happened on the last date of hearing.

Plea bargaining is the type of conviction and not acquittal ! You have been punished in the form of Rs 500 for the offence under section 188 ipc …! Acquittal only comes when u would have been through the entire trail and court would have found that allegations made against you are false..! Thanks

Your case is not over after payment of Rs. 500/- cost.
To the best of my understanding, Rs. 500/- cost was levied because you did not attend the first hearing.
However, submitting a plea bargaining application implies that you have accepted your guilt and pray for a lesser punishment.
Max punishment is 1 month if found guilty of offence under section 188 IPC.

Hi
In case you have filed an application for plea bargaining. Will need to look into that. Also, the fine that has been charged to you is a penalty. That would not amount to any kind of acquittal. Thou the chances of getting acquired are high in your case.
