Cancellation of admission and refund from pvt coaching classes

I took admission in one of the pvt. coaching classes for govt. entrance exam for 6 months by paying rs. 25,500 by cheque in the evening and the very next day i called the classes and told them to cancel my admission and refund my fees. They said that they will refund the part of amount but now they are denying to cancel my admission as well as to refund my fees. I haven't attend any of their lecture and told them to cancel my admission and refund my fees even before the lectures started in the classes for this year. It's been a month and they are not cancelling my admission nor refunding my fees. Please help

For cancellation have you sent them in writing ?
There is any terms and conditions of classes written anywhere about admission and cancellation of admission.
You have to send them notice through advocate for cancellation admission and getting refund.

for better suggestion you can't go in consumer forum
you should issue a notice to them regarding your topic and in said notice you tell them that you are going to file an police complainant against them if they can't return your money

dear client, the class is bound to return you the fees paid if you have decided not to attend the class. send them a letter requesting your money back and get a reply from them in writing. later you can approach the consumer forum in your area.
