26-Jul-2023 (In Consumer Court Law)
I got admission in PGDBA distance learning from SCDL, pune. They charged complete course fee at once. Ijust after depositing fee I got a severe accident and now I am not able to study further. I requested for refund but every time they refused. Even there is nothing like study or exam due to corona virus pandemic.

You can file a complaint against them in consumer court since you have not availed the facility and hence you are entitled to get refund.
You can first send them a legal notice and see how they respond to it to decide further course of action.

You can serve them with a legal notice in which you will be stating the grounds due to which you are unable to pursue with the course and give them 15 days time to pay the amount otherwise a case will be filed against them and you can seek compensation also.

I have perused the contents of your query and would advise you to seek a detailed consultancy from a lawyer having expertise. Further advised you to issue a strongly worded legal notice followed by a complaint under the consumer protection act. There are catena of judgments wherein it was held that a college cannot withheld the fees of the student if the student decides to withdraw.
