S.I calling for investigation after lok adalat gave decision in favor

11-Dec-2023 (In Civil Law)
Lok adalat has given the result on our favour in the case related to land when the other party has appealed to lok adalat. Now with the help of political influence they again approached the S.I and the S.I is calling us for station regarding the case. We have submitted the lok adalat copy to the S.I and the S.I is still calling us and harrasing us. What to do?

since you have given the lok adalat order copy to the Sub inspector of police and despite that he is calling you to the police station is illegal and arbitrary, hence you can file a petition agains the S.I

Hi Police cannot interfere in a civil dispute(property dispute) and more so when the matter has been decided by Lok Adalat. Please file a complaint to the Superintendent of Police/Commissioner of police asking them to direct the sub inspector NOT to interfere in civil dispute. If even after a week SP/CP are not issuing directions to Sub-Inspector on NOT to Interfere, you may approach the High court for directions to SP, Sub Inspector etc and High court will definitely issue orders to SI restraining him from interfering in your civil dispute. Hope this information is useful.
