Q: for admission meaning in high court in India?
I lodged a complaint with the Chief Justice regarding the illegal allotment of 10% open space in a layout. Fortunately, the letter was treated as a PIL. It has been three months now, and the case is currently at the hearing stage. I would like to understand the meaning of terms like admission, interlocutory, hearing, and orders at various stages of the case. Since my case is now being heard, can I anticipate that it will soon be brought before the bench? Thank you in advance for your guidance. What is the meaning of admission, interlocutory, and hearing in order?
Advocate Neeraj N answered
I understand that there is no interim order and counter is filed in the main PIL and case is posted for final hearing and after final hearing, order will be passed, at admission case is heard and interim order if required will be passed or case is admitted and posted for counter and this stage is called as interlocutory and once counter is filed or the respondent has instructions the case is posted for final hearing
