Marriage to first cousin (Hindu)

30-Jun-2023 (In Civil Law)
Me and my cousin (Father's sister's daughter) want to get married. both are hindus, so prohibition degree won't allow marriage thru Hindu marriage act and special marriage act (being first cousins). There is no custom also in the society for such marriage, being in north India. That being said, want to have opinion so as to how to get legally married, by circumventing the law.

I will staightly come to your options -
1. Islamic religion allows such marriage. But conversion only for marriage purpose can create problem , However nobody restrict you to follow islam and then marry your choice of girl.
2. You both can live in a live in relationship.( law allows that too)
3. You both can settle in abroad and marry as per laws prevailing .

There is no provision to bypass this situation and circumstances and legally the marriage can't take place and the same if performed will be a void marriage as the same is performed within the prohibited degrees or sapinda relation.

Hello sir. I have perused your legal query. Unfortunately there is no going around this. Such a marriage is expressly prohibited and is accordingly void ab initio. There is no scope for its solemnisation.
