Defamation suit for damaging the fame

The opponent is in Kerala. I am in Tamil Nadu. The opponent damaged my fame by giving wrong remark about me in writing. Can I file a defamation suit in Madras High court for claim of Rs.2.00 Crore (Rupees: Two crore) compensation through a defamation case. If so what is the court fee for the same.
which is the place that defamation act is caused you can file a case on the place yes you can file case in Madras if it is in Kerala state you can file a case in Kerala the definition mediaeval or in written reason quarrel you should have sufficient evidence to prove if it is in return the document itself is a evidence
