College not accepting medical leave and not granting attendance

12-Sep-2023 (In Civil Law)
I am a second year student pursuing BBA LLB from Symbiosis Law College, Noida. I was hospitalised for one month and so I couldn't attend college. The director of my institute isn't granting me attendance on medical grounds as well. I will have a semester backlog and I am barred from giving my exams due to short attendace. Do I have a right to have attendance due to medical leave under UGC guidelines or under any other law?

I think you've to pull out the medical leave rules of your University and speak to the administration. The BCI of guidelines only talk about the minimum percentage of attendance that needs to be maintained in an academic year. So, make your move accordingly.

First tell me before your illness do you have optimum Attandence or not .if your privious record is good for attendance you may file complain on that ground and what kind of illness do you had .if you have that kind of illness that you have advised for one month rest than you can litigate them .
