My daughter is 2yrs old, who will get her custody after divorce

im a govet employee and my husband file divorced case against me .I Live my meternal house .After divorced who get 2year girl child
Generally courts grant custody of the child in favour of mother , but husband will have visiting rights to his child. The recent Supreme court ruling says that the child must get love from both her/his parents. later on as the child grows the court will examine who can provide the child better future as also other circumstances.

For child custody some one hushusband or wife have to file a custody suit. Than court will decide who can take better care. And with whom child is safe. Who can give the child a better future. Divorce case can't decide child custody. But yes some one can give pray for child custody in petition. But court will decide who will get custody.
