Hello,
What is the exact stage in the case proceedings? Whether notices issued to the other party? Whether other party had given that Thirty Thousand before filing of the case? Answer to all these questions are necessary before answering the querry.

Dear client
Kindly give detail instruction of your case. If it is case of cheque bounce which is pending in court, payment of 30k doesn't affect or make any difference to your case provided there is any compounding of offence i.e. mutual settlement between parties before court. IF money is deposited by permission of Court or in compliance of any order , you need to state that. IF it is out of free will of other party, that doesn't impair your case.
Thank you.

Hi,
First up all you need to send notice within a 15 days from the receipt of information regarding the dishonour of cheque from bank.
Then if no reply received within a 15 days after sending the notice regarding the liability then within a one month you can file complaint before Magistrate court under Non Negotiable Act.
NO problem if he has paid the Rs. 30000/-

If the other side is confirming that the 30,000 what he has given to you is in respect of the cheque for Rs. 6,00,000/- on which the case is pending, then it is a very good evidence in your favour. He is confirming the liablity, which is very essential in a cheque bounce case.

It will not effect to your case as the payment is made towards the due liabilities from them against which they had issued cheque. The cheque bounce case is for criminal wrong and not for recovery so You can still proceed with your case and can avail same remedy.
