Query perused. I would advise you to engage a lawyer for issuance of legal notice to the concerned firm and thereafter file a complaint under section under section 138 NI Act at the earliest possible to recover your money. The summons will be issued at the last known address and in the mean time if u get the new address, we will furnish the same later on. For further consultancy and legal services you may contact us.

you will have to enquire about the last known address of the person. you can file a case under section 138 negotiable act in the mean while as the process is time-barred and you wont get an opportunity later
You shall send him a demand notice and if he fails to reply file case under Section 138 or the negotiable instrument act. You have other alternative remedies too, which can be explored once we have a look at your agreement and the nature of transaction.
