Q: can disown son claim on house (non-ancestor property)
The father disowned his elder son through an affidavit and a newspaper notification. After the father's death, the disowned son is claiming property rights. My question is: can he claim the property (not ancestral), considering that my mother is still living and has also disowned him

Q: Separation notice while living together
We are living in the same house but are not living as a couple. The husband is abusive and is not at all a safe space for my son. Our property is shared, but i pay the loans. He doesn't assume any responsibility even of my son's education. I want to end this legally but my son is not yet ready to face the reality. any options i could look for? Is there a separation possible legally where he pays for his stay?
Advocate Sunidhi Sharma answered
Yes, you may opt for separation and also maintenance for your child if the child is a minor. If you have documentation of all the loan and payment, you might have a strong case. Please get in touch for more details.
Q: Mental harassment in goverment university
I am working as contractual staff in a government university. My new chairperson (female) has overburdened me with tons of responsibility which are beyond my area of expertise. Kindly guide from Legal perspective.
Advocate Sunidhi Sharma answered
You must have singed a term before joining the said institution therefore if you are given work under or as per your plan/term then it’s alright however if work assigned to you are going beyond your terms, you can always get a legal notice sent to the concerned person through a lawyer.

Q: Transfer of property in will case after death - haryana
We have a residential plot with 4 owners. My father(25%) , myself (25%), my wife(25%) and my brother(25%). My father has passed away leaving a will, giving his share of plot ownership to my brother. Now I wish to buy/transfer my brother's total share (50%) via gift or sale deed. My question is:1. Do I need to first transfer the my father's share to my brother using will in government records? 2. Or Sale deed/ Gift deed can be executed directly on the basis of will?Pls guide
Advocate Sunidhi Sharma answered
The law in regards to WILL differ from state to state. It is always better to speak to a legal advisor/ lawyer in person to get your queries resolved. However in Haryana there is no provision of WILL probate and the process of transferring a property as per WILL is comparatively simpler.
